Thank you @mbbroberg for the reframing and addition of a few key phrases that make the intent of the metric more apparent.
I have a few change requests. I explained the ones that may not be obvious. Please let me know if you have questions.

Thanks @GeorgLink, let me know if it looks good now. |
Note from Value meeting: Georg has had good conversations with companies who are looking for "listening" but needed both a practice and a framework. That's exactly why SCMS adds more value than suggesting a single proprietary "social listening" tool. |
Notes from Value WG:

I was taking a look at this again before the Value meeting today @GeorgLink. Are there any further edits needed or could you re-review? |
As we reflect on the metric, I recommend that we scale this metric back -- in terms of narrative on the CHAOSS site. Perhaps point people to more detailed information in the Resources. |
Hey Matt,
@dylan Marcy <dylan@sociallyconstructed.online> and I were actually hoping
we could have a formal meeting ahead of the podcast being released to edit
the page anyway. Can we set up a special meeting to do modifications to
the page and discuss ways of improving it? Ultimately we'd like to add a
"how to" video as well as a blog post that @georg Link
<georglink@bitergia.com> was working with us on. If needed I can have that
video finished and uploaded by Monday morning?

Guessing this is for Matt @mbbroberg :) If you are proposing a video, I would recommend that it is something that would be included in the Metrics Resources. |
This was more pointed at people in the working group who have made the
decision to step the SCMS back so really to whom it may concern.
We can put the video into resources, but as you've suggested the breadth of
the system creates some intimidation so Dylan and I have drafted a 1-minute
how-to video to install and get started with the metric. I think it
tackles the exact pinpoint mentioned and as a result, it should probably be
placed higher up to mitigate the issue of the system's complexity.
It should be noted however that the SCMS isn't just a "metric" but a
"metric system" and as a result, I think that simplifying it is going to be
difficult without allowing some wordsmithing.

I'm happy to work on the metric. However, it may require more time (i.e., 1 month review with community) before we publish changes to the website. Any improvements we make, I assume, will be part of the next release later this year. |
Taat would be fine I think. We can talk about this later monday night?

Yes, I'll see you tomorrow evening.

I merged this step into the right direction. We will iterate on the metric from here. |
