Currently you can only set every minute, every 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 minutes, 12 hours or 24 hours. This is suitable for many cases, but many tests are needed much more often during the day than at night, when there are hardly any customers and we cannot react.

I would like to set some tests to run every hour from 8am to 8pm, for example, but only every 4 hours or something like that from 8pm to 8am.

+1 It would be nice to have this as feature, currently I can not set the scheduler for certain time period.

Another addition that came to my mind - the day of the week would also be great to have as an option - at the weekend (Sat + Sun) we don't need some tests as often as on weekdays.

@KBA-H We don't have this yet, but maybe you can approach this behaviour with simple maintenance windows? https://www.checklyhq.com/docs/maintenance-windows/#creating-a-maintenance-window

@tnolet Thanks for the suggested solution. We can use it to stop tests during night. However I could not find the way to set weekends on this screen. It would be great if you can add the weekend option in "Repeat on every" dropdown.

Thanks for the tip. The maintanance doesn't help us directly because we don't want to stop all tests at night, but only some ☹ Especially the browser checks for accessibility should continue. Therefore, a schedule that can be set better for each test would be great.

And the intervals are also too long/less options - currently you can only choose between 1h, 12 and 24 hours. How about 2, 3, 4 hours? That would probably also be quite quick to expand and would help a little to adjust it better as first step.

Adding my +1 here, but I'm just looking for a bit more granularity between the 60 and 720 intervals. e.g. "every 3 hours" and "every 6 hours" are what we're looking for.

Thanks again for considering!

I'm interested in setting checks in values between 1 and 5 minutes. To better sync them with other (server run) stuff.

I created a separate ticket to cover adding the frequencies. This does not solve a custom cron schedule, so I will keep this one open for now. See #235

This should be live pretty soon.

The above ticket with extra frequencies is now live.
