CarEase

Overview

CarEase is a Fullstack web app built with NextJs. It is a platform for the car enthusiasts to browse the listed cars and compare them so that they can make the best decision while purchasing their dream car. This team-project was developed as a part of Chingu-Voyage-47.

How to run locally :

• Clone this repo
• Open a terminal and go to the project folder (ex: user@user:/myProjects/v47-tier3-team-25$)
• Inside your project folder, in the terminal type cd carease
• Rename .env.example file to .env.local and fill in your values for environment variables.
• Now, npm install
• Then, npm run dev

If you have followed the above steps, your project should be running on http://localhost:3000

Features

• Landing Page
• User Authentication (Roles - Customer, Dealer, Admin)
• Explore cars - lets the user browse through top 3 cars from each category (SuperCars, PopularCars, UpcomingCars, Others)
• Users can navigate to each category section with the help of a Filter Navigation.
• Users can View all models belonging to a particular category.
• Users can click on View Model to view a particular car.
• Users can compare cars by clicking on the compare car button against each listed car.
