Section 3.3.3 - Octal example does not start with 0 - I think it should?
Also the text is potentially confusing ...
"Be aware that a leading zero always indicates octal mode." - that is true for integers, but the $float example starts with a 0 - and it is decimal, rather than octal?

Thanks for reporting. The missing zero was a formatting bug. I've also explicitly noted that only integers with leading zeros are octals. Commit 86004ac fixes this.
Please feel free to add yourself to the CREDITS if I haven't done so by the time you see this.
