There is currently no way to remove a resource or a sub-resource (i think it was possible once, according to the docs, but is gone or refactored in the meantime).

added a removal function in 97baa1c, closing this.

thanks for the pointer to documentation, unfortunately this needs manual updating, triggered.

as you are working with tangible resources far more than i am (mine are more often proxies or similar), feel free to post ideas on how to make the resources system more appealing.

Cool, thanks! For the moment i am pretty happy with this. I could imagine an advanced tree functionality like resource walker (or visitor) in a future, but let's try to keep it simple and lightweight for now.
