## Overview | ||
|
||
We’re looking for a Content Audit Specialist to serve on multidisciplinary project teams with career civil servants, actively demonstrating the value of iterative development and user-centered design. Our teams are working to improve a wide range of city services, including designing the future of austin.gov, and creating city-wide standards for service design, web development, and user research. The role starts in mid-June, and the project will wrap up in 3 months. | ||

## What you’ll do | ||
|
||
- Analyze and evaluate existing Austintexas.gov content | ||
- Identify content types for websites, applications, printed resources, and in-person transactions | ||
- Discuss content recommendations with internal users | ||
- Understand and apply standards for services across the city to improve usability, accessibility, and efficiency | ||
|
||
## What we're looking for | ||
|
||
- Experience designing content for online experiences, websites, applications, or advertising | ||
- Ability to analyze and evaluate digital content | ||
- Knowledge of web standards and best practices related to accessibility, usability, and writing for the web | ||
- Basic understanding of and experience using Google Analytics | ||
- A passion for public service and a commitment to doing the hard work that’s necessary to improve our city services | ||
