  • Save parts of the store to browser storage
  • Load these parts on load/log in
  • Covers things such as
    • collapsed panels
    • list component filtering/sorting
    • side nav state
    • In the future choice of language

We have created an issue in Pivotal Tracker to manage this. Unfortunately, the Pivotal Tracker project is private so you may be unable to view the contents of the story.

The labels on this github issue will be updated when the story is started.

From #stratos Michael Stokes [6:36 PM]
I don't like the new feature that the filter I set on the applications page is lost when I close the tab and reopen it or even refresh the tab it loses the info. I liked the last version (v1) of the app that remembers your filters forever even after restarts of your browser. It used to remember the org, space, search and whether the apps are listed in squares or rows.

I think this worked in v1. Thanks for working on this.

Should we remember active tab?

e.g. Cloud Foundry view - click on orgs, go away, should you come back to orgs tab rather than summary tab?

I've created #4814 specifically for the list settings. It's associated it's associated PR #4405 has the mechanism to achieve persisting other settings, just need to ensure they go into the correct part of the store and whatever uses them reads from there
