Please install a correct PAM file for your system, supposedly Arch? https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/blob/main/tools/arch/cockpit.pam Otherwise, please tell us your OS, cockpit version, how you installed, etc (that form is there for a reason 😉 ) |

Also going in to app and to podman shows not found...could there be a incompatibility between old podman version 3.4.4-1 on aur and your newer build of 2.64.1? Only way to maybe know is if i downgraded to 2.63 currently on aur and if it then works to show and have podman usable then we know? or maybe i just need to build podman to newer version from source.... |

I can truly confirm that one of the situations that cockpit users see Internal error in login process error message is when the server disk space is full (out of space) . feel free to test it. Thanks. |

Just a curveball but Ive just had this issue on a server I don't go on a lot and the disk was full, nothing to do with anything else.. |
