Loading available updates failed
Cannot refresh cache whilst offline

Guys,

With reference to #13002
and similar issues raised in countless articles about the problems
above (server was definitely NOT offline ), the only solution that worked
flawlessly ( allows Software Updates to work and also
ensure the Networking page properly displayed its content )
was to set the /etc/netplan renderer to NetworkManager as below;

network:
    renderer: NetworkManager

Thanks to the Cockpit Team for a great product.
Btw hope container support and temperature display can
also be shown soon.
