The following browser categories follow the categories listed on caniuse.com. Known functionality notes on browsers/platforms are provided here. Stylistic differences between browsers may not be included here, but may be noted in an issue in the repository. To search for browser-specific issues, use the issue filter. For example, this will search for all issues with Firefox in the title.

Internet Explorer

Tested on IE8 and later. Polyfills are provided for IE8 and IE9.

Firefox

Certain configurations of Firefox may have issues with the Google Website Translation Gadget, as noted in https://github.com/codeforamerica/ohana-web-search/issues/311.

Chrome

Autofill highlight becomes stuck (noted in https://github.com/codeforamerica/ohana-web-search/issues/538).

Safari

No issues noted.

Opera

If popups are open and window is resized, the popup arrow may shift (noted in https://github.com/codeforamerica/ohana-web-search/issues/176). This was observed in Opera 12.6 and is resolved in newer versions.

iOS Safari

Clear (x) buttons in the text search inputs may overlap the text (noted in https://github.com/codeforamerica/ohana-web-search/issues/572).

Opera Mini

Needs further testing. Likely will have an issue with not supporting the classList API.

Android Browser

Needs further testing.

Chrome for Android

Needs further testing.
