Can you clarify what sort of change is expected? Should bounds be relaxed for QuickCheck or it's not desirable on depend on it at all (that would be strange, but that's what the title literally means).

Bounds relaxed for QuickCheck (now we have QuickCheck 2.13.1 in the snapshot)

megaparsec-tests-7.0.5 now allows QuickCheck-2.13.x, revision 1.

/me assumes hledger-ui got flagged due to a transitive dependency and is all fine now

Yes, via brick dependency chain Unfortunately, there's no owner for brick, to report it to

All version bounds were lifted when we upgraded nightlies to ghc 8.8. Please check the latest nightly snapshot to see if your package was removed.
