I saw #2091, that is great, thanks to everyone involved!

One thing that at this point I am wondering is: does anyone is aware of packages that change ABI depending on the microarch level used? I am aware of one (eigen, see conda-forge/eigen-feedstock#41 (comment)), but perhaps there are more. Are there any suggestion on how to deal with those packages?

corrfunc and galsim can use microarch features but don't by default. I will be adding support for them when I get a chance.
