Workshop on version control with Git and Github for Genomics Data Science PhD Students at the National University of Ireland, Galway

Prerequisities

• Get a Github account

Install Git:

• If you are using windows, install Git Bash
• If you are using Linux, you may already have git installed. You can check by opening a terminal and typing git --version . If you get an error, then you can install git on the command line by typing sudo apt install git.
