Simcoe County Service Pinger

Monitors service urls for uptime and expected results. e.g. It will check if a wfs url is broken, return the desired number of records and expected field names.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

Python

Installing (using VS Code)

git clone https://github.com/county-of-simcoe-gis/SimcoeCountyServicePinger.git
cd SimcoeCountyServicePinger
F5 (Debug)

Deployment

You would run the main.py like any other python file. "Path to Your Python Exe" main.py
