PLATFORM and OS or BROWSER:
Windows 11

DCSS VERSION AND GAME INFORMATION:
0.30.1, issue discovered during game download from main "crawl develz" DCSS website, attempting to download latest version

DESCRIPTION:
My antivirus would not let me download any windows version and gave me this alert for the tiles+console download: Bitdefender alert: C:\Users\james\Downloads\cb00f176-59ad-493a-87d4-19174fb49413.tmp is infected with Gen:Trojan.Heur.FU.yIZ@aGLZuBhi.

Issue deters potential players, didn't find anything on the forums about this or anywhere else.

Heur is likely short for Heuristics. i.e. likely a false alert, report it as such to Bitdefender

This is almost certainly a false positive, virus scanners don't like the installer package we use; see e.g. #3132, https://crawl.develz.org/mantis/view.php?id=9109, etc

There's not much we can do short of dropping the installer package, but someone could report this as a false positive to BitDefender, which has worked in the past.

If this is an installer issue, why not switch to an installer that doesn't cause issues?
