Hi there! 👋

I'm Dr. Sarah Kaiser (she/her) and I 💖 everything about quantum tech!

Twitch Status Pronouns Discord Twitter Follow

I have spent much of my career developing new technologies in the lab, from satellites to VR to quantum cryptography hardware. Communicating what is so exciting about quantum is my passion, and I love building new demos and tools to help enable the quantum open source community to grow 🌱

What am I up to right now:

  • 🏅I'm a Microsoft MVP for the Q# programming language + the Quantum Development Kit and love showing people how easy it is to program a quantum computer. Join me on Wednesdays and Saturdays on Twitch where I work on open source Q# projects on my Quantum Develop with Me stream.

  • I maintain the Q# Community, where the community around Q# works to develop new tools and quantum software development projects! Also, we are looking for new mainatiners to help out as the community grows 👯

  • 📝I'm writing day and night like I am running out of time. Usually to the Hamilton soundtrack, but I write books and blogs for developers to learn about quantum computing like Learn Quantum Computing with Python and Q# and posts on my blog.

  • 👩‍💻 I run a meetup group in Seattle called WIQCA where we host talks ~1x a month highlighting development tools, research, and skills that real life quantum developers use!

When not at the keyboard you can find me:
