The freeDSPx ADAT IO x4 is a digital IO expansion board for the freeDSP family. It provides 4 Lightpipe(I2S) inputs and 4 Lightpipe outputs via a single Toslink Cable.
Optical through output enables to connect the cascade connections such as FreeDSP --> Left Active SPK --> Right Active SPK
48kHz sampled 8ch 23bits (23bit I8S) audio stream and 1bit Logic Signal information will be transferred via a single TOS-Link optical cable.
Logic I/O levels are unified 3.3V LV-CMOS level.
