This patch release contains three primary fixes. The PRs are included below:

  • #2420 Prevent superfluous external-name annotation on XRs
  • #2429 Preserve rendered annotations & labels on composed resources
  • #2490 Persist claim resourceRefs before creating XRs
  • #2511 Do not requeue on successful revision reconcile

There are also two updates to our build and deployment tooling, including standardizing on Helm 3 (#2487) and supporting an updated version of the build submodule (#2511).
