Feature Request

I confirm:

  • that I have searched for an existing feature request matching the description.

Feature Information:

Issue

When inside the instance management view, opening the configuration menu, you're shown a long list of settings pages. Some of these are for AMP, some are for the game/application. It's difficult to quickly find the settings pages directly related to the game/application (other than using search)

I.e. If a user wants to change the player count for a Minecraft server, they might have to check multiple settings pages like 'User Management', 'Active Sessions', 'Gameplay and Difficulty', 'Performance and Limits' and 'Server Settings'. Or ultimately give up on using the UI and use search instead, but at that point the UI isn't doing it's job.

Change

Separate the Configuration list shown inside instances between settings for AMP and settings directly related to the application/game of the instance (App Settings).

Example:

Default

  • Current view of the instance configuration menu today
    amp-appsettings-default

New

Here are some different examples of how I would imagine implementing this change...

  • Separated inside the Configuration list
    amp-appsettings-1

  • Or separated as a different configuration menu
    amp-appsettings-2

Closing as the original ideas raised in this feature request are now redundant, as the issue has been solved through new the UI changes in AMP:
