How to specify a header as mandatory?

Hi,

I am having difficulty setting a header to be madatory as part of a request. I have tried to specify it in a global filter defining a regular expression, but it seems that the filter is only applied if the header exists in the request, if the header does not exist, the filter is not applied and the action is not executed. I've also tried unsuccessfully to set it in the parameter content constraint using the restrict option, but the result is the same, the regular expression only seems to evaluate if the header exists.

Is there something I'm missing? How could I make a header mandatory in a request ?
