In order to create a better workflow, we will be using ZenHub to track progress of the different GitHub tickets. You can access ZenHub as a tab along the top of your GitHub screen when accessing the cwrc/HuViz page.
Below is a list of the columns (from left to right) and the descriptions of what they should contain. This should help us to organize tickets and Epics, and to stay on top of these items in our weekly meetings.
- all newly created issues are automatically placed here. Once they are discussed (in meetings) they should be moved into other columns. This list should form our discussion list for each meeting.
- these issues have been looked at by Susan/Kim but have not yet been ranked in importance or placed in other pipelines.
- issues that have been discussed and approved, but are not being worked on yet, should be listed here. Once they are started, they should be moved over into the In Progress column.
- contains a list of the most important, current HuViz issues to be addressed. Should be no longer than 5 issues, with the most important issue at the top.
- issues that have been started and are continuing to be worked on should be listed here. Kim/Susan will monitor this list to make sure that they are in order of importance (most important at top).
- list of issues pertaining to the interface or enhancements that are a low priority.
- issues that need reviewing by Shawn/Susan before they can be closed should be listed here.
- issues that we would like to tackle in the future but do not currently have bandwidth for are listed here.
- A list of issues for Kim and Chelsea to track the status of user testing and documentation of HuViz.
- all closed tickets automatically move here.
