Passive Physical Link Mapping not presenting in matrix, since there are no reference documents that were identified for the notion of passive physical link mapping and manual methods are required.

Since "passive" in cyber context implies listening on the network passively (as suggested in the current definition; i.e., gather data, but not sending packets), will need to change "Passive" to "Manual" or otherwise indicate the distinction that mapping physical links requires physical inspection or authoritative physical design artifacts.

  • Also needs article to be written for kb-article field consistent with definition.

  • Make sure to create new D3 code for resulting class.

  • Most generally, techniques may not always present in the matrix, but may be present in the data for matrix, best if they are not in the matrix.json data or fully formed.
