Welcome to Hyperbolic space on the Oculus Rift!

This project started at the Illinois Geometry Lab in Fall 2014. The goal of the project is to render hyperbolic 3-space on the Oculus Rift, showing what it would be like to live inside hyperbolic space.

The underlying technique to render curved spaces is the one described in Jeff Weeks' article Realtime Rendering in Curved Spaces.

This is a screenshot from October 17, 2014. The screenshot is taken at relatively large scale (making the curvature clearly visible).
