This change makes one more character available for
less --status-columnsince it now inserts two extra characters at the beginning of the line (see #41). In general it seems important to honor user'slessconfiguration. The alternative to this change would seem to be attempting to honor them in general, with some exceptions like--status-column. However, that direction seems error-prone / impossible, seeing as less customizations can come from env varsLESS,PAGER,BAT_PAGERand~/.lesskey.
