이곳에는 2022년 6월 2일 ~ 2022년 6월 23일 동안 무중력지대 무악재에서 진행된 전시 ⟪Jai Guru Deva $\Omega$⟫ 에 사용된 데이터 분석 및 음원화, 시각화 코드를 찾아볼 수 있습니다. notebooks 디렉토리에는 뇌파 및 지구 자기장 데이터를 수집하고 처리하여 음원화하는 코드와 실시간으로 사람들의 뇌파를 수집하여 시각화 하는 코드가 있습니다. 수집된 데이터는 data 디렉토리에 저장 되어있으며, 수집된 데이터로 만든 음악적 세그먼트들은 segment 디렉토리에서 찾아보실 수 있습니다.

Here are the source codes for data analysis, making sound segemtns, and data visualization used at the exhibition ⟪Jai Guru Deva $\Omega$⟫ held in "Mujungryeokjidae Muakjae(무중력지대 무악재 in Korean)" from June 2, 2022 to June 23, 2022. In the directory notebooks, you can find my code which collects and preprocesses brain data and earth magnetism data and another code which collects people's brain data and vizualize them in real-time. Collected data are saved in the directory data and the sound segements made from these data can be found in the directory segment.

저희는 실험의 형태를 빌려와 관람자가 작품과 상호작용하여 새로운 작품을 만들어나갈 수 있도록 작품을 구성하였습니다.

We brought the form of experimentation and composed our artwork so that the viewer can interact with our work and create a new work.

1. 밤의 카니발_revised | Night carnival_revised

김세윤 기획자와 김성하 작가가 발표한 "밤의 카니발"을 리마스터링하여 준비했습니다. 관람자는 뇌파 수집 장치를 착용한 후 이 음원을 청취합니다.

Curator Seyun Kim and artist Seongha Kim prepared a remastering version of "Night Carnival (밤의 카니발 in Korean)". The audience listens to this sound source after wearing the EEG collection device.

2. Map the Universe

김민석 연구자는 지구 자기장 데이터를 수집하고 이를 음원으로 변환시켜 매우 짧은 길이의 음악적 세그먼트를 얻습니다. 김성하 작가는 이 세그먼트를 이용하여 새로운 음악을 준비하였습니다. 관람자는 뇌파 수집 장치를 착용한 후 이 음원을 청취합니다.

Researcher Minsuk Kim collects Earth's magnetic field data and converts it into a sound source to obtain a very short musical segment. Artist Seongha Kim prepared new music with this segment. The audience listens to this sound source after wearing the EEG collection device.

3. Map the Brain

김민석 연구자는 자신의 뇌 데이터를 수집하고 이를 음원으로 변환시킵니다. 관람자는 관람자는 뇌파 수집 장치를 착용한 후 이 음원을 청취합니다.

Researcher Minsuk Kim collects his brain data and converts it into a sound source. The audience listens to this sound source after the spectator wears an EEG collection device.

4. Welcome to the Lab

"밤의 카니발_revised", "Map the Universe", "Map the Brain"을 통하여 수집된 데이터가 각각 다른 세 가지 방식으로 실시간으로 화면에 송출됩니다. 송출된 화면은 관람자의 시각을 자극하는 새로운 자극원이 되어 뇌파에 영향을 끼칩니다.

Data collected through the art works "Night Carnival_revised", "Map the Universe", and "Map the Brain" are transmitted to the screen in real time in three different ways. The transmitted screen becomes a new stimulus source that stimulates the viewer's vision and affects the brain waves.
