This is the first 3.0 release candidate.

IF YOU ARE USING A VERSION OLDER THAN BETA 5: you need to read the section "changes since beta 5" carefully to ensure a smooth update.

Install

  • Install the Main Download with your mod manager and step through the FOMOD installer.

Manual Install

  1. Take a moment to remember you are the actual worst.
  2. If you DO NOT have SexLab Aroused, copy patches/dse_dm_ExternSexlabAroused.pex to scripts to disable SLA.
  3. If you DO want the bard patch, copy patches/BardSongScript.pex to scripts

Important

  • This mod is not doing anything super crazy that will nuke your save but this is a BETA release and it does do strange things. Make a backup of your save so you can go back to having fun if I somehow ruin your life.

  • How it works is you craft furniture at the forge. They will be in your MISC inventory. To place them in the world you attempt to EQUIP, NOT DROP them and that will close the menu and place it automatically. Once the object is in the world you can talk to it to get a menu of options you can use.

  • Run FNIS after installation.

Known Issues

  • Did you run FNIS?

  • Move mode is not as smooth like in Fallout 4. It's a silly thing working in a stupid way. The slower your PC is the more laggy the move mode will be.

  • Some devices still have floating bits when there is no NPC in them, like the wood pony has floating cuffs. Those will be updated eventually for moar immersion.

Changes since Beta 7

  • Fix broken Dollstand JSON.

  • Fix missing texture on lemonade bottle cork.

  • Fix player not owning the lemonade tip jar. Unmount and remount your brewer to force it to update.

  • Fix weapons not unequipping from NPC while mounted.

  • Spooky Month Updates:

    • New Furniture: Coffin. Open, closed, and glass door. Standing and laying down.
    • New Furniture (Variant): Hot Cider stand
    • New Furniture (Variant): Chapel of Souls

Changes since Beta 6

  • Fix player being unable to move after self-bondage.

  • Cleans up some log errors about missing properties related to juices. You may still have them though in your papyrus log until a fresh save. But its not a problem so you don't need to.

  • Having the book in your inventory is no longer required to tell NPCs to go away when they are following you.

  • Fix load screen text and device position in the optional esp.

  • Fix the Lady Pot mesh for Argonians (note, this is still not actually attainable without cheating in the game as its not fully ready, but people are doing it anyway, so there you go)

  • Add MCM option to not tint the screen in Move Mode.

  • Add MCM option to not tint the screen in Assign NPC Mode.

  • Fix (hopefully) camera aim targeting when activating Move Mode on a piece of furniture over your head. It's a shittone of trigonometry and I went to public school in fucking Indiana like 20 years ago ok I'm sorry roflmao.

  • Fix missing lemonade stand move ghost.

  • Fix interactions showing "time bound" status messages.

  • Add reaction support to interactions. You'll see the character on the chair squirming a little when you sit on them.

  • How-To guide in the right sidebar here on the wiki has been "finished" to describe the entire process of adding a new simple furniture to Display Model as an expansion pack.

  • Started documenting the JSON file info, also found in the right sidebar here on the wiki.

  • Slaves following via DM's "Follow Me" command will stand farther away while you are combat. more accurately they likely will not run away from combat but rather they won't keep trying to climb up your asscrack while kiting.

  • Added "stay here" command.

  • Updated chapel of dibella to new format where wrist cuffs are separate so you wont see them floating there idle anymore. If you currently have some of these furniture deployed with someone, you may need to talk to them and choose "reload device" before seeing the cuffs again.

Changes since Beta 5

Furniture Changes ~~~

A handful of devices have been changed or merged. For example, there are no longer 4 different Queensbreakers to craft. You now craft 1, and its poses are selected with the mounting menu. It is highly recommended you release NPCs and pick up the following furnitures BEFORE you install this update:

Any of the four Queensbreakers.

Now 1 furniture with 6 modes selectable (two more than before). Queensbreakers 2, 3, and 4 will vanish from your inventory after installing.

Any of the Rope Pony

The rope pony is now 1 furniture with all the variants selectable when mounting actors. Some of the old variants will vanish from your inventory after updating.

Any of the Wood Pony

The wood pony is now 1 furniture with all the variants selectable when mounting actors. Some of the old variants will vanish from your inventory after updating.

Any of the Lamps

Lamps have been changed so that they mesh swap the shade when its on to glow more, additionally a pull chain was added so once an actor is mounted to it you can rotate through the different brightness without taking them off. Lamps now have an "off" state as an option while an actor is mounted.

The Rocking Horse

it's been updated to have a variant that rocks now.

The Chair

the interactions are now back, so you can sit on the person in the chair again. talk to them, choose "interact"

Regular More Safe Updates ~~~

  • there is now a FOMOD Installer. Mainly because:

  • SexLab Aroused is once again Optional. By default, it is actually disabled now because that is more safe. If you have Sexlab Aroused be sure to click it on the fomod installer.

  • devices can now define in their JSON if they are "exhausting" or "arousing" which determines how they affect Sexlab Arousal.

  • self-bondage camera collision fix for queensbreaker.

  • the alokzaam devices have been given hints as to their poses, so like "alokzaam keh" now also says "(prideful)" on the end for all you people too weak to learn dovah babble.

  • devices now support actor subscales but thats going to require an entire blog post to explain as its nothing any of you need to care about.

  • some device move ghosts have had their textures fixed.

  • while in self-bondage, if you hold down the JUMP key (presses are how you try to escape) it will flip up the sleep menu.

  • move mode camera snap has an mcm to turn off as there are cases where my math doesn't work right, like if the device is over your head. if you never do that then it won't matter.

  • when you talk to someone on furniture, and say release, they will engage the dm follow mode instead of walking away.

  • if you reload device, mounted actors will engage follow mode instead of walking away.

  • tweaks to the pose select menu to try be more clear about what slots are occupied.

  • fix walk/run speed while dm follow mode.

  • fixed (maybe) the flicker (some) users were having with the ice block.

  • added optional bard patch to installer. (this patch needs to be made better but it works for now)

  • optimized textures.

  • interaction is back, the only one that has them is the chair right now ported from the oldrim chair.

  • updated furniture: rocking horse has rocking again.

  • lot of scripting features and optimizations for linking objects to the furniture to make furniture that can do things. like the lamps toggle, tank fills, and lemonade stand product generation.

  • new furniture: purple lamp.

  • new furniture: tanning rack.

  • new furniture: the spermatank.

  • new furniture: lemonade stand. try placing it in a busy part of town >_> it makes both lemonade and money!

Changes since Beta 4

  • fix putting multiple actors on devices that are only designed to have one with multiple poses.

  • when you talk to furniture and say assign npc, the list of slots will now list who is in them if anyone.

  • translation support. both them mcm and script messages are translatable via the same json system as soulgem oven 4. not everything has been fully translated yet tho.

  • lot of text notifications have been moved to debug messages so they only show in the console not the corner of the screen.

  • some anti-merge/anti-esl precautions. you WILL break this mod if you try to merge its esp with another, or eslify it. look at the files in configs\dse-display-model\devices. if display model detects an attempt at this it will insult you. don't fkn do it.

  • some extra device utility functions that i know i'll want to use but have not yet. things like spawning additional objects around furnitures.

  • new furniture: steel sword.

Changes since Beta 3

  • NEW DEPENDENCY, CONSOLE UTIL SSE. SEE REQUIREMENTS LIST ABOVE. NOT OPTIONAL.

  • Fix for zoning in where actors would take too long to load causing some errors.

  • System for attempting to fix actors who somehow managed to get out or got pulled away to auto correct them when you see them. Caused by ActorUtil not being good on SSE.

  • Stats in MCM

  • Collision layer changed on all devices.

  • Stamina based self bondage. Press JUMP to attempt escape.

  • Added lots of options to MCM.

  • Put AI to sleep during Wait/Sleep menus. There is where ConsoleUtilSSE comes into play because in SSE EnableAI(FALSE) does not work properly.

  • Optimised FNIS file.

  • Fixed issue #1 reported by patrick.

  • Alokzaam's had their poses named.

  • Poses can open the actor's mouth.

  • Restored Furniture: Mara's Tear (2 poses)

  • New Furniture: Pumpkin (4 poses)

Changes since Beta 2

  • you need to have the Display Model book in your inventory for the crafting patterns to show up at the forge. you can get the book from most weapon/armour dealers in town, like the lady right at the gates of whiterun. The book may also appear as random junk loot. or you can just cheat with the console or AddItemMenu. If this is a save you been playing on, it may take a few in-game days before vendors update their inventory.

  • the screen will tint blue while you are in device move or npc select mode. how-ev-er i have noticed some enb's somehow manage to completely neutralize the tint so all you get is like this almost unnoticeable blur around the edges of the screen instead.

  • ask sexlab before mounting actors to devices aka "dont bondage children".

  • experimental outfit disable dialog option.

  • experimental "follow me" dialog option.

  • exclusive new devices: The Chill, A Lamp.

  • ported new devices: The Chair, Rocking Horse, The Mannequin Men

  • "reload device" will also reload the json data now.

  • a lot of debug messages that were being printed in the top left corner have been moved to the console.

  • cleaned excess nodes from a lot of nifs

  • sexlab aroused is temporarily not an optional thing. see the bullet point in the IMPORTANT section above.

Changes since Beta 1

  • fix unintended breakage when sexlab aroused was not installed

  • fix unnecessary check for cbbe morphs

  • all current devices now have lower poly ghosts for move mode

  • small optimise to furniture placement code

  • placeable base script no longer needs dm api bound to property in ck. makes things simpler when i get around to explaining how to add your own furniture to dm later.

Features

  • Craft bondage furniture at the forge. Place them anywhere in the world.

  • Move them anywhere. If you are going to move a device more than a few meters it is better that you pick it up and re-drop it in the other room, the game does weird things with occlusion plane. Oldrim Display Model had the same problem.

  • Devices which allow head tracking can have their head tracking toggled via dialog with the NPC.

  • Facelighting can be toggled via dialog with the NPC.

  • Funitures which support it (the cage only atm) can randomize their poses if you leave them in your house alone long enough.

  • NPCs will moan while on devices. Some devices moan more than others.

  • NPCs will have their arousals reduced the longer they are on a device, unless they are flagged exhibitionist then it goes up.
