IRC Channel

You will find us at irc.oftc.net, channel #darktable.

If you use matrix, the OFTC IRC bridge should out of the box, the address is #_oftc_#darktable:matrix.org

There is a web interface available for those not having irc client

IRC Bot

Currently there is one official bot in #darktable:dtslave

General information

This is a modified limnoria. You can see the version with !version.

There are two ways to give commands to the bot, either with dtslave: <command> or !<command> Of course you can also use the commands in a query (/query dtslave) when you don't want to spam the channel.

  • !bug <number> -- give title and URL of the ticket
  • !bugs -- give the URL of the bug tracker
  • !commit <hash> -- give title and URL of the commit
  • !darktable -- give the URL of the darktable website
  • !dtslave -- give the URL of this wiki page
  • !git -- give the URL of the darktable git repository
  • !later tell <nick> <text> -- tell the next time he/she is seen. may contain wildcards. Warning: everyone can see the undelivered notes using
  • !later notes and !later notes -- get a list of all undelivered notes and the ones for a specific nick
  • !newbie -- give a short introductory message which links to a few resources for new users
  • !newbug -- give the URL of the new ticket page
  • !pr <number> -- give title and URL of the pull request
  • !seen <username> -- when has been writing the last time?
  • !usermanual <keyword> -- use google to search in darktable's usermanual for
  • !userwiki -- give the URL of the user's wiki
  • !wiki -- give the URL of the developer's wiki
