Can't see received messages

I use Ubuntu 15.10 64 bit, Unity desktop, pidgin-whatsapp 0.8.4 from your Launchpad PPA ppa:whatsapp-purple/ppa with pidgin and libpurple0 both in version 1:2.10.11-0ubuntu4.

I can send text messages to various friends, but I don't receive any.
However, I see when they are typing, I see their status and I can even receive image files from them.

My "Advanced" account settings in Pidgin are:

Server: c3.whatsapp.net
Port: 443
Nickname: XXX
Resource: Android-2.31.151-443

Do you need more debug output? Just tell me how to fetch it and where to send it.

@davidgfnet Please excuse that I ping you directly here, but I'm waiting for almost two weeks now and haven't received any single reaction. Of course I understand that you probably have much else to do than working on this open source project, but I still demand at least any kind of comment.

Do you already know this bug and are you already attempting to fix it? Is it described in another issue which I missed? In that case you could please give me the link to that issue where I can watch the progress or read about the solution.

Else please tell me at least that you received this report and that you are going to look into my problem soon. Also if you need more information to debug, just ask for it.

Using a802c9a on windows, unable to receive any messages sent from iphone since the recent ios client update. My messages sent from the a802c9a pidgin client come through though.
