I Dont See Recived Messagens #381

Instaled everything right.
Last version of Pidgin (2.10.12)
Last version of Plugin (whatsapp4pidgin-0.9.0)

Everything works right when i SEND a MSG.
More when a Recive a Msg, i Dont see nothing.

When I Send a Msg to one contact in my list, it WORK
When I Send a Image to one contact in my list, it WORK too
More when one contact in my list Try to send-me a msg, it DONT WORK, AND I DONT RECIVE NOTHING

  • I Alaread unistalled and installed it again
  • I am NOT using proxys
  • I can see "Nickname is Typing..." more never see the msg
  • The contact when try to send-me a msg see only one "V" mark

And one more problem, my profile picture never change too.

I'm also affected. I can send messages but not receive. I'm using bitlbee on Linux. though... The account wasn't new.

Running bitlbee with debug flags shows that I'm indeed receiving messages and "X is typing" status, but the actual message doesn't show. I'd guess whatsapp-purple isn't decrypting the incoming messages for some reason. Tested with 3 different people, under Android, iOS and Windows Phone.

EDIT: Disregard most of this, since I'm apparently using 0.8.something and this should be fixed on 0.9+. I'm trying to compile under fedora23. The copr repo could use some love...

My issue #389 seems to be about the same. Looks like I have to compile it myself as well and try again.
