Terminal rooms are available for working on the practical course (currently only 36-324, the “Praktikumraum I”, is in use).
- Please keep the the terminal rooms clean and tidy.
- During the warm seasons please close the windows at the latest when leaving the room. (During the cold seasons, turn off the heating when you open the windows to let air in and close the windows again soon.)
- Shutdown your terminal after logging out from Lara (menu in the lower left corner).
- We try to keep the door always open, but sometimes it is locked by security or cleaning staff. You can ask people sitting in nearby offices to open the room for you. All employees and assistants of the LG IS have a key to the terminal room.
- Terminals: RDP seems to be the recommended remote protocol (faster + fewer problems). You can disable the shadow of desktop icons in case they appear ugly, and increase the font size if it is too small.
