Data and code for modelling midsagittal hard palate shape using Bézier curves

These are the Supplementary Materials accompanying the paper:

Janssen R, Moisik SR, Dediu D (2018) Modelling human hard palate shape with Bézier curves. PLoS ONE 13(2): e0191557. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0191557

These are:

  • bezier-model.py: the Python script for fitting the Bézier model
  • bezier-fit-best.tsv.xz: the TAB-separated file containing the best fits
  • hard-palate-tracings.tsv.xz: the TAB-separated file containing the tracings of the actual human hard palates
  • interactive-script-bezier.R: the R script for interactively visualising the Bézier curves space (ATTENTION: it need the file generated-bezier.tsv.xz stored on Zenodo at [DOI 10.5281/zenodo.1154780(https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.1154780)
  • plots-for-all-conditions.pdf: supplementary text containing all the plots for all conditions.
