CEH v11 We will learn these meta skills as we move through the material together. This will challenge intermediate and advanced students. This will give beginners an idea of professional skills and the means to acquirer those skills.

You will read and study the basics before class. Come with your questions.

Knowledge: Glossary converted to notecards. Read the CEH glossary. Learn to convert it to study material. Recognition is not enough to pass the exam but, it will get you 40%. Passing is 70%.

Skills & Activities of class:

  • Mindmaps will form the basis of our discussion, no slide reading, no definitions.
  • GETHELP - Given an O.S. or Software what are the specific help tools?
  • SANOT - Recognize where you are in hacking process; how you jump to other stages; what tool will you use? = Stage At,Next,Or & Tool
  • Toolswap - What tool are you using? What is another tool on same O.S.? What is another tool on another O.S.?
  • PSRF - Hacker and victim interact via the network, capture the packets, which is the relevant packet stimulus / response, how do you write a good/great wireshark display filter? This is your artifact. = Packet Stimulus Response Filter
