FYI, there's some overlap between this PR and my own, #7. I'm not fluent enough in Ruby to know which approach is preferred. |

Yeah just saw it, I actually deleted Gemfile.lock, added json gem to Gemfile, |

Will merge in the other one, since the gems are kind of wonky at the moment. The Gemfile.lock is our only saving grace. |
