Should we email the information to the user?

Holding off on further functionality re: wire transfers. Future things to think about:

  • We landed on no expirations around wire transfers. This especially emphasizes the need for an admin UI to support the seller in initiating transfer if something went wrong, or perhaps awarding to the next bidder, or whatever the functionality should be.
    • If we ever want to support expirations, when we see a failed payment status we could send an email to the user and set an expiration on the pack.
  • Should there be any limit on the number of packs a user can initiate a wire transfer with? Since this locks down the pack.
  • How should the Profile section display wire transfer information? The Transactions would be listed as they normally would, but there likely should be an option to resend the instructions to yourself and/or see the status.
  • Should different bank accounts be available for use? If so, do we have a Profile section with those listed and the ability to add/remove, similar to cards.
  • Does it make sense to support multiple bank accounts being reused? With what's currently available, this opens up the possibility of fraud, though very unlikely.
  • Is Circle going to be a supported bank account for other banks? It was mentioned banks as common as Capital One lock down wire transfers, only supporting a pre-approved, limited list of accounts you could send to, such as for mortgages.
