Sounds hot.
Would this take the form of a feature for Jeykll?

A Jekyll mod would be great, as it makes adoption fairly simple. But it might not be best suited for this application. Jekyll produces static sites. These sites will have lots of pages, as each revision requires its own page.

Maybe Node or Meteor is the way to go, with an aim at feature-parity. But then you're reinventing lots of wheels.

Truth be told, I'm out of my depth on this one.
