notifications arent marked read if you go to the topic

If someone you follow makes a new topic or post you get a notification. Instead of clicking the notification if you directly go to the topic or post the notification isnt marked as read and stays active until you click the notification button.

Going to note here that Facebook doesn't mark notifications read if you go to the referenced topic, as far as I know...

Perhaps we can one-up fb on this, heh.

Not quite ready to close... the notif bubble still shows solid (doesn't update), but the notification is gone on refresh.
