Greetings Damon,
Submitting the front end coding challenge. A couple things I learned about while doing the challenge:

1. sprites : very cool for speed optimization
2. storing data in a hidden div : first time implementing that
3. learned how to pass a function to .sort() to be able to sort by an attribute

For the transition : I went with simple / fast. And did minor tweaks to get sprite images to line up properly.
