I started thinking users may want to disable this grant because it opens a new attack surface. We have this option for password credentials granted, but with the current design, it will not be possible to restrict the possibility of exchanging a token. The easiest way to solve this issue is to add a global setting that configures allowed grants. |

Apologies for not being more involved in this proposal. Great work everyone! I do have a couple questions, but we can iron those out in the implementation. The proposal looks good to me.
If the goal is for users to stay safe, adding an opt-out flag may not be enough as a simple upgrade will enable the feature by default. I'm not saying it's a bad choice, just something to think about. |
