Weird problem with a variable: Can't access it in a later timeline when I can access it in an earlier one.

I'm stumped.

I have this variable set up for each character in my VN:
CharVars.Mitchi.timesTalked

I use it to funnel the player into special events that happen after talking to a character so many times.
The threshold is defined by these variables:
GameParams.StartHeartEvent and GameParams.StartKeyEvent

I can access these variables in my first timeline, where I call them up to test that they work...

... And in the first timeline, they work as expected:

... Later, I call the variables again, like this, in a different timeline:

... But it throws an error:

I've checked spelling several times and I'm kind of stumped.
I even chose the variables from the visual editor dropdown and got the same result.

One thing to mention... between these two timelines there's at least one place where I call clear with the KEEP_VARIABLES flag:
Dialogic.clear( Dialogic.ClearFlags.KEEP_VARIABLES )

Edit: Scratch that. I believe I found the source of the problem: #1841

This was fixed by Alpha-10.
