Requires using either https://github.com/naturalatlas/mapbox-gl-native-node or https://github.com/maplibre/maplibre-gl-native (preferred)

Approach would be to create a general endpoint for the client to request static maps, where they can specify certain parameters such as:

style
dimensions of image
zoom
center
bearing
pitch

maplibre technically supports node bindings but hasn't published to npm just yet (requires maplibre/maplibre-native#378 and then an official release)
