Submission for National Data Science Challenge 2019
Rank 22/360 (Top 6.1%), Singapore National Data Science Challenge 2019, Feb 19 – Mar 19 Participants are mainly undergraduate students from public universities in Singapore.
- Determine the category of a product from its image and title.
- Mainly used Keras framework to build deep learning models for text classification. Also used state-of-the-art models such as ULMFiT.
- Trained models for different word embeddings, including self-trained and pre-trained word embeddings.
- Applied transfer learning and ensemble learning to improve the accuracy of our model.
- Ending the competition at rank 22 out of 360 (Top 6.1%).
