@dkahle I was wondering, do you have a timeline for when you plan to submit this 2.7 version to CRAN? I'm using
get_stamenmap
in a function within a package I'm working on and get aggproto
error when I use the latest CRAN version, but not the GitHub version, ofggmap
. I think this error will be resolved as soon as there is a version ofggmap
on CRAN that has been built since the release ofggplot2
version 2.2.0, based on a comment in the NEWS forggplot2
--- perhaps that's why the GitHub version works but the CRAN version does not? In any case, I think the 2.7.0 version will run without error for the function I'm working on, so I was wondering what your timeline for submitting that to CRAN so I can figure out whether I should wait for your next CRAN submission and put the function I have with this dependency in the version of my package I submit to CRAN, or if I should keep this function in my development version for a while and submit to CRAN without it.Also, thank you so much for your hard work on this package. It's really wonderful and I use it all the time.
