Overriding Precedence in Expressions

As near as I can tell, using parentheses to override precedence in expressions isn't mentioned anywhere in the docs. I think this maybe belongs on the precedence.rdoc page; I'm willing to write a patch for this, but since this would be my first, I wanted to check with the documentation crew that the documentation truly isn't there.
