I'm wonder is there any changelog of what have changed in topic of SourceGenerators from first announcements? For now it looks like that knowledge is not documented. Any roadmap could also be useful. I have feeling that this topic is closed or priority is very low. Samples are still marked as work in progress https://github.com/dotnet/roslyn-sdk/tree/main/samples/CSharp/SourceGenerators?
