Get variable statement by a declaration's name

Right now I'm having to do this:

const statement = apiModule.getVariableStatementOrThrow(s => s.getDeclarations().some(d => d.getName() === "api"));

But it would be nice if I could just do:

const statement = apiModule.getVariableStatementOrThrow("api");
