USB Soundcard with mt32 pi

Hi Dale,

I was wondering if mt32-pi can also use a USB Soundcard?

I want to use the audio out of the mt32-pi with a Teensy 4.0 and the Teensy can act as a USB Soundcard.

Unfortunately it's not supported, and probably won't be.

Hi Dale,
thanks for the quick answer and for the reference to circle. Now I understand how mt32-pi is working.
I can also try to use the teensy as a i2s slave maybe, need to try more.
and i just thought, how is the audio transfered back to the mister with the mt32 pi? is it analog? need to check this too.
if nothing works i could still go the analog way, just thought there would be a nice digital way...

MiSTer receives audio from mt32-pi digitally via I2S, and mixes it with the digital audio coming from the FPGA cores.

To mt32-pi, MiSTer is just another I2S audio device.
