The word list was originally used in a proof-of-concept auto-completion mini-project: https://github.com/nelsonic/ac but it's since been used by quite a few people.
Please give examples of how you are using the list in your project(s) so we can add them as suggestions in the readme. thanks!

There are lots of reasons why people might want a database of english words besides autocomplete. For example, I plan to use it to find all the words that can be typed with only one hand.

There are many reasons why this exist. I have used it before to copy and paste the words in a list.

Hi, thanks for this repo.

I want to use this word list to separate English words from meaningless letter combinations, which are generated when many pdf files are converted to txt files.

Now I try to do this with antconc, do you have any suggestions?

01:03,The wordlist can be simply added to make it work!

For the curious. For example, all words in the list that are length 5 and have the word 'and' in the middle are as follows:

banda
bande
bandh
bandi
bandy
bando
bands
candy
danda
dandy
ganda
handy
hands
kande
lande
lands
mande
mandi
mands
nanda
nandi
nandu
panda
pandy
randy
randn
rands
sandy
sands
tandy
vanda
wandy
wands
zande

Inspired by the "How can you spell candy with only two letters?" "c and y".
