Part of our mission is to make everyone we work with feel loved.
Our services clients have been fantastic this past year and I think we should #MakeTime to think about sending them Cards & Gifts.

F&N / Arrods might be considered "extravagant", so if anyone has a more "frugal" (but still good quality) suggestion please share!

To be 100% Clear I'm totally aware of the The Bribery Act 2010 and want to make it clear that Gift(s) would only be sent to client(s) as a "Thank You" and not as part of "soliciting" any new work. Our plan for 2017 is to focus our efforts on our SAAS Products and not go after any more services work! But I still want to show gratitude to the people who have given us a chance to deliver great work and give our people work experience!

@iteles you are the "making people feel loved" person ... but you probably don't have time to even think about this ... is it OK if I do?⌛️

I've been thinking about this a lot actually! Both for our clients and our amazing dwylers.

Some short thoughts for now:

  • Timing: I don't actually like the idea of doing this around Christmas. I love the idea of doing it in January, after the January craziness has finished and wishing everyone the best for an amazing new year. Who doesn't love some post-Christmas love to help with January blues?
  • Contents: Hamper-type gifts, certainly, but only Fairtrade. And it should include a book we recommend.

@iteles clearly you've put (way) more thought into this than I have... 😜
I'm happy for you to take the lead on this when you have more time... 👍

At what point does generosity become "ostentation"? 😕
If we bought "nice things" for everyone would people think: "we're paying DWYL too much" ...? 💸
What is a thoughtful gift that says we ❤️ you! without making people feel "uncomfortable" ?
Why does being thoughtful require so much thinking...?! 🤔

@iteles so ...
can we do this now that it won't be confused for a "Christmas" Present...?
thinking https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?keywords=organic+baby+hamper for that special someone who is expecting ... or is it better to only send a baby hamper once we receive the arrival news...?
Either way there are a few people I want to thank with "nice things" and want to prioritise it!

Hampers are definitely post-baby gifts 🎁
Let's catch up on this tonight.
