Installing SDM #115
Comments
You're essentially repeating the questions you asked via direct email, but starting again at the beginning. I explained to install the SDM features, and you pointed it it was already installed and explained "but the problem is that the folder: usr/local/bin/sdm is empty". I explained that the project is archived so getting help is a challenge at best... |
Dear Ed
Thanks for our reply. I followed your instructions, about the PTP. It is OK. After that I observed that the
SDM is not installed. I followed the instructions of Greg Waston and two steps out of three were successful.
Now the problem is in the last third step.
Can you please tell me where it is archived? I will repair and send it to the community.
In that case, every one using the MPI will enjoy it.
Best regards,
Yehuda

Actually I can't find the archive for this: https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.ptp Probably you have to ask here: I've found in general it's hard to find the archive of something. One would hope the portal itself would provide that link. You might ask them why there isn't such a link... |
Dear Sir/Mrs.
I downloaded the following files:
org.eclipse.ptp.debug.sdm_9.4.1.202108312239.jar
org.eclipse.ptp.utils_9.4.1.202108312239.jar
org.eclipse.ptp.proxy_9.4.1.202108312239.jar
I unzipped the files and produced three folder named:
I have built the utils and proxy libraries.
Opening the org.eclipse.ptp.debug.sdm_9.4.1.202108312239 folder revealed that there is no BUILD file.
Attached please find the
ptp.sdm_folder.pdf
folder contents image.
Best regards,
Yehuda
