==============================================================================
CONFIGURATION *promptline-configuration*

* enable/disable usage of powerline symbols for separators (default on) >
let g:promptline_powerline_symbols = 0
<

* fine-tune simbols >
let g:promptline_symbols = {
\ 'left' : '',
\ 'right' : '',
\ 'left_alt' : '>',
\ 'right_alt' : '<',
\ 'dir_sep' : ' / ',
\ 'truncation' : '...',
\ 'vcs_branch' : '',
\ 'battery' : '',
\ 'space' : ' '}
<

* promptline color theme *g:promptline_theme*
Specify which stock color theme |:PromptlineSnapshot| should use.
Themes reside in autoload/promptline/themes/* >
let g:promptline_theme = 'jelly'
let g:promptline_theme = 'powerlineclone'
let g:promptline_theme = 'airline'
let g:promptline_theme = 'airline_insert'
<
* promptline preset (layout) *g:promptline_preset*
|g:promptline_preset| can hold a string, in which case a stock preset will
be used by |:PromptlineSnapshot| >
let g:promptline_preset = 'clear'
let g:promptline_preset = 'full'
let g:promptline_preset = 'powerlineclone'
<
Alternatively, |g:promptline_preset| can hold a |Dictionary|. This can be
used to customize the prompt. The dictionary can have (optional) keys 'a, b,
c, x, y, z, warn'. In zsh, 'x, y, z, warn' will be placed in the right
prompt. Each value associated with these keys must be an array. Very basic
example, showing how to include the hostname, user and current working dir in
the prompt: >
let g:promptline_preset = {
\'a' : [ '$(hostname)' ],
\'b' : [ '$USER' ],
\'c' : [ '$PWD' ]}
<
'a', 'b', 'c' are referred to as 'sections', the elements in the array
associated with them are referred to as 'slices'. Each section can hold
multiple slices. A slice may be empty (e.g. git branch is displayed in git
repositories only). If all slices in a section are empty, the section is not
displayed at all.

|promptline| comes with commonly used slices which can be used in
|g:promptline_preset|. Refer to |promptline-slices| for details about
preloaded sections. In this example, all slices in section 'c' and 'warn'
may be empty: >
let g:promptline_preset = {
\'a' : [ promptline#slices#user() ],
\'b' : [ promptline#slices#cwd() ],
\'c' : [ promptline#slices#vcs_branch(), promptline#slices#jobs() ],
\'warn' : [ promptline#slices#last_exit_code() ]}
<
The order of the sections in |g:promptline_preset| can be configured with
'left_sections, right_sections, left_only_sections'. 'left_sections' and
'right_sections' will be used to order the sections in zsh (zsh supports left
and right prompt via PROMPT and RPROMPT), 'left_only_sections' will be used
for bash (which doesn't support right prompt). Example which sets section 'b'
before section 'a' >
let g:promptline_preset = {
\'a' : [ promptline#slices#user() ],
\'b' : [ promptline#slices#cwd() ],
\'c' : [ promptline#slices#vcs_branch(), promptline#slices#jobs() ],
\'warn' : [ promptline#slices#last_exit_code() ]}
\'options': {
\'left_sections' : [ 'b', 'a' ],
\'right_sections' : [ 'c' ],
\'left_only_sections' : [ 'b', 'a', 'c' ]}}
<
